WASHINGTON, DC – State Business Executives (SBE) is pleased to announce the Board of Directors
has elected Pat Fong Kushida, President and CEO of the California Asian Pacific Chamber of
Commerce (CalAsian Chamber), to the Board of Directors Executive Committee on Tuesday, June 6th
.
Fong Kushida has served on the SBE Board of Directors since its founding in 2021 and her leadership,
knowledge and reach have been crucial to the growth and success of the organization.

Fong Kushida founded the CalAsian Chamber in 2010, and has built a best in class enterprise model
utilizing innovation to build its eco-system of business, government and community partnerships to
further inclusive economic development opportunities and give voice for California’s 600,000 AAPI
small businesses. The CalAsian Chamber is the largest ethnic chamber in California and its economic
development, community development and advocacy programs serve all minority business
enterprises in California, and Fong Kushida works with organizational partners both nationally,
